The most underrated skill no one talks about.
Your brain is powerful but only if your body is on your side.
Hey friends, Happy Wednesday!
Let me tell you the truth no one talks about when it comes to learning.
You want to grow? Learn Python.
You want a better job? Master SQL.
You want to stand out? Build real projects.
All solid advice.
But here’s what I really want to tell you:
Before any of that… learn how to take care of you.
Because I’ve seen it … in myself, in students, in coworkers.
Burnout doesn’t start with code. It starts with forgetting your body and your brain need maintenance too.
You skip sleep.
Survive on caffeine.
Push through stress.
Tell yourself “I’ll rest after this next project.”
And then one day…
You sit at your laptop, and nothing works.
Not the code. Not your focus. Not your energy.
You’re drained, and no course in the world can fix that.
Here’s the skill that changed everything for me:
Treat your body like your first machine.
And your mind like your main engine.
Fuel them.
Update them.
Give them recovery time.
Take real breaks.
Move a little every day.
Sleep like your career depends on it — because it does.
Say no to things that drain your battery.
Say yes to what makes you feel alive.
Learning is important.
But your energy, your health, your mindset … that’s the foundation.
Take care of that first. Then go learn Python. 🚀

New Video This Week
This week I dropped a new video for Python learners, this one’s all about what you can actually do inside Python loops. I’m talking about these 3 little commands: break, continue & pass.
Also, here are 3 complete roadmap videos if you're figuring out where to start:
📌 Data Engineering Roadmap
📌 Data Science Roadmap
📌 Data Analyst Roadmap
Hey friends —
I’m Baraa. I’m an IT professional and YouTuber.
My mission is to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years and to make working with data easier, fun, and accessible to everyone through courses that are free, simple, and easy!
I don't know why, you are the best. You are talking to me right now. Thank you for the advice
Hello Baraa, it's Meryem, your newsletter led me here. I cannot thank you enough for your videos. And just when I thought you were too incredible, I came across your data analyst roadmap. The thing that led me to leave this comment was your advice about understanding statistics and how it will help to become a better analyst. Thank you very much for that advice. I think that was an invaluable takeaway that some may have missed. :-) Best wishes to you!
